Adv. Vibhav Mithal, Managing Associate at Anand and Anand
Vibhav Mithal is a Managing Associate at Anand and Anand and practice as an IPR litigator in New Delhi, India, in diverse areas ranging from patent law and trademark law to copyright law and plant varieties. He has been an integral part of many path-breaking litigations, such as the Aloys Wobben dispute (Supreme Court, 2014); Roche v. Cipla (Delhi High Court, 2015); Monsanto dispute (Supreme Court, 2019) and Ferid Allani (Delhi High Court, 2019 and Intellectual Property Appellate Board, 2020). Vibhav has also taught a course on Trademark Law at National Law University of Jodhpur and has spoken at various schools in form of guest lectures, including at the Warwick Business School.
A graduate of National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, Vibhav has also pursued an LLM in Intellectual Property Law as an LLM scholar from Boston University School of Law. In October 2019, he was featured by National Jurist in an article titled ‘Who’s Who of Foreign Attorneys’ amongst 15 prominent LLM graduates, each having been nominated by their respective US law schools.
