The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2021) has been postponed indefinitely thanks to surge in COVID-19 cases across the country.
The new date for the Test are going to be announced later.
The decision was taken by the chief Committee of the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) at a gathering persisted Saturday.
“CLAT 2021 scheduled to be persisted June 13, 2021 stands postponed. New date of the test are going to be notified in due course,” the notification issued by the Consortium of NLUs said.
Further, the last date for submission of online application has been extended to June 15.
Earlier, through a notification issued in January this year, CLAT had been re-scheduled to be conducted on June 13, in light of an announcement that CBSE board exams would commence from May 4. Before that, it had been slated to be conducted on May 9.
