The Moot Court Society of the Amity Law School, Noida takes the privilege to organize the 14th AMITY INTERNATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION 2024 (AIM). Scheduled from October 17th to 19th, 2024, this year’s competition will be conducted in-person, providing participants with the invaluable opportunity for direct engagement and authentic mooting experiences. The event is renowned for its academic rigor and attracts participants who bring varied perspectives and innovative solutions to complex global issues. The moot court competition shall be in a PAPERLESS FORMAT.

Eligibility

  • All recognized law schools, universities, and institutions in India or abroad with a minimum of three years of LL.B. courses shall be eligible to participate.
  • Each participating team shall comprise either two (2) members where one of the two (2) Speakers shall be designated as a Researcher or three (3) members where two (2) members shall be designated as Speakers and one (1) member as Researcher.
  • Only One team is allowed to participate from each institution/college through a valid authorization. Multiple entries are not permitted.
  • The language of the Competition is English.

Theme

This year the moot problem delves into the complexities of Public International Law with a central theme on the critical issues of Genocide and Territorial Sovereignty.

5th October 2024 Last Date of Memorial Submission
16th October 2024 Draw of Lots for Preliminary Rounds + Memorial Exchange
17th October 2024 DAY 1 (Preliminary Rounds + Researcher’s Test)
18th October 2024 DAY 2 (Quarterfinals + Semi-Finals)
19th October 2024 DAY 3 (Finals + Valedictory)
