The District Consumer Forum of Mumbai has guided a restaurant to refund service charge to the customer who is an IPS officer, who did not observe its food to be up to the mark, and pay Rs 10,000 to him as remuneration.

The forum guided the restaurant to pay Rs 5,000 as pay, Rs 5,000 as cost and administration charge.
