JOB TITLE-
Consultant, Legal Counsel
RESPONSIBILITIES-
The candidate will be responsible for legal support for the Virtustream business in APJC. Virtustream is Dell EMC’s Enterprise Cloud business, which has been and is growing exponentially particularly in ANZ, Japan and SEA. This role calls for an individual who can work independently to provide end-to-end advice and strategic and tactical support throughout the sales transaction lifecycle to the internal business stakeholders. The foregoing will include document redlining, due diligence, contract negotiations, and liaising with external customers. Deeply knowledgeable about sales transactions, the role will support internal business stakeholders, liaise with external customers and will collaborate within cross-functional teams, including team members in Sales, Sales Operations, Finance and Tax.
- In addition to the Virtustream responsibilities, the candidate will also assist on Enterprise contract negotiations for ANZ. Enterprise is a challenging profile and looks for an able negotiator who would have an in-depth knowledge and experience of working on complex agreements ranging from services to licensing. The role will need to work with ANZ-based account executives to respond to contractual and legal queries and negotiate commercial agreements in line with Dell policies and processes.
- Collaborating and working closely with cross-functional teams, including business segment, sales operations, finance, tax, for both Virtustream and Enterprise transactions and any new initiatives for the foregoing BUs.
- Coordinate with other APJC lawyers and Contracts Managers to drive implementation of key programs and initiatives (including specific templates for both Business) in a timely manner and aligned to business timelines.
- To the extent required, work with Global Audit team to implement key risk mitigation measures across Virtustream BU for APJC region.

LL.B. degree. NLUs students will be given preference.
