About NCLT
The National Company Law Tribunal is a quasi-judicial body in India that adjudicates issues relating to Indian companies. The tribunal was established under the Companies Act 2013 and was constituted on 1 June 2016 by the government of India and is based on the recommendation of the V. Balakrishna Eradi committee on the law relating to insolvency and the winding up of companies.
All proceedings under the Companies Act, including proceedings relating to arbitration, compromise, arrangements, reconstructions, and the winding up of companies shall be disposed off by the National Company Law Tribunal. The NCLT bench is chaired by a Judicial member who is supposed to be a retired or a serving High Court Judge and a Technical member who must be from the Indian Corporate Law Service, ICLS Cadre.
About the Opportunity
NCLT is inviting applications for the filling up the posts of Assistant Registrar and Deputy Registrar on deputation basis in different NCLT or National Company Law Tribunal Benches.

Eligibility
Assistant Registrar
Officers working under Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Courts or Tribunals possessing degree in Law from a recognised University:
A.
- holding analogous post on regular basis; OR
- a post in Level 9 and 10 as per Pay Matrix of Seventh Central Pay Commission or equivalent with five years regular service in the Grade; or
- a post in Level 8 as per Pay Matrix of Seventh Central Pay Commission or equivalent with six years regular service in the Grade,
- a post in Level 7 in Pay Matrix of Seventh Central Pay Commission with seven years’ regular service in the Grade,
B. Having experience in administrative/ or establishment or Court matters.
Deputy Registrar
Officers working under Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Courts or Tribunals or statutory organizations (possessing) a degree in Law from a recognized University:
A.
- holding analogous post on regular basis; OR
- a post in Level 11 as per Pay Matrix of Seventh Central Pay Commission or equivalent with five years of regular service in the Grade,
B. Having experience in administrative or establishment or court matters.
