Khurana & Khurana (K&K) is a full service Intellectual Property, Media-Entertainment, and Commercial/Corporate Law firm giving high-end technology backed Corporate/Commercial Law and IP Prosecution/Litigation Support firm is looking to hire an Associate Partner – Indirect Tax Law for their New Delhi Office.
Khurana & Khurana (K&K) is looking forward to build and scale a robust Tax Practice in addition to its current IP, Corporate/Commercial Law, TMT, and Banking Practices, and is looking forward to like-minded colleagues who can take up the challenge in building and growing a strong Tax practice from scratch.
About Job-
The colleague would be put on a fast Partner track, and should therefore be extremely matured, motivated, and willing to grow the practice (instead of becoming a part of one). The colleague should be Delhi based and willing to undertake comprehensive Business Development required to build a practice from ground up.
The colleague should be entrepreneurial, confident of being able to grow a practice, work independently, and willing to commit a long term engagement on mutually convenient terms. Colleagues who prefer to working under a Senior Colleague may not apply as this position requires experiences colleagues who have been looking for the right platform to be able to independently scale up a practice and have the wit and will it requires to do so.
The colleague should have at least 5 years of core Tax Practice (preferably Indirect Tax) and should have focused on a broad range of Taxation matters including advisory/opinions, India entry taxation (inbound and outbound), Permanent Establishment, GAAR, excise, customs, treaty eligibility, GST/TDS/DTAA related opinions, M&A, restructuring, preparing and arguing various applications, appeals and written submissions before the AO, CIT (A), ITAT, HC SC, and AAR.
