Law College Dehradun has splendidly contributed to legal education in the country since its inception and inauguration by His Excellency Shri Surjeet Singh Barnala, the then Governor of Uttarakhand in 2002. Law College Dehradun, faculty of Uttaranchal University, is organizing a 4th National Elocution Competition, on the theme “The Interplay of Space Exploration and environmental sustainability: A cosmic perspective”, the details about it are mentioned below.
The competition tests student’s creativity, presence of mind and command over language with a broad spectrum of thoughts. LAW COLLEGE DEHRADUN, faculty of Uttaranchal University, under the aegis of VASUNDHARA- THE GREEN SOCIETY presents “4th NATIONAL ELOCUTION COMPETITION)” with the purpose of stimulating the idea of summarising their thoughts on a virtual platform.

Eligibility
- All the students who are pursing Undergraduate and Postgraduate Course from any recognised University from India and abroad are eligible to participate.
- Multiple Participation are not allowed i.e. one person cannot register for more than one entry.
General Rules
- This would be a bilingual competition (one can either speak in Hindi and English and the participant would not be allowed to switch their language in between).
- Participation would be open only to individuals (teams are not allowed).
- Time limit would be 3-5 minutes.
- Any use of unparliamentary language would result in disqualification of the participant.
- Decision of the judges would be prevailing and binding.
