About The Legal Chronicle
The Legal Chronicle is a comprehensive learning platform to enable skill development beyond books. We host an array of events all year round like talks and discussions, moot practices and competitions, and give first-hand information to navigate through law school. Besides providing access to information, we aim at assisting the students to become a better person. ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Research is something that all the streams, be it legal or non-legal, share in common. The training program by the Legal Chronicle is built considering the dire need of the students to learn about research and the lack of proper training in colleges. Despite having subjects like ‘Research Methodology’ and ‘Legal Methods’, law colleges have failed to teach the students the art of research for one simple reason; not being able to come to the level of a student and teach.
This program is not a short workshop but a 15-days course where we will focus on most important questions such as:
- How to decide the area of law and title of the article?
- Where to begin research?
- What sources should be relied upon for research?
- Use and understanding of citations
And all the basic questions that you have ever faced when you started writing a research paper or an article.
Our Mentors
Every student is different and has his/her own way of learning. So, why have one teacher or one mentor to guide you? This program will bring before you an array of young lawyers and professors, each with a unique way of explaining; to cater to the needs of different students.

Our Research Proposal
One of the unique features about this program is that there will no unilateral lecture on researching but students will be required to come up with their own area of research, a title for an Article etc. as and when you are taught. So, if today’s session was about ‘Title of Research Paper’, you will bring your own title for research papers on the next session. In this way, by the end of the program, every interested student will have a research proposal and after the training program, they can complete the paper with our guidance.

The program will be held online through audiovisual means of ‘Zoom’ platform.
