On the very first day, we have to give an application of joining the internship at the office followed by an entry in the official register. After this, you will be added to a WhatsApp group where all the information will be shared.

Main tasks
The daily tasks will be posted on the WhatsApp group with timing and location. Each day you have to go to different places to experience different things.
On the first day, I visited a homeless shelter which is run by PUCL and acquired some knowledge about how it works, Then we have a lecture on the condition of homeless people in Jaipur as well as in India.
Then I had Court Visits (Session Court, Family Court and High Court), Police station and Mahila thana visits where we were told about its working.
We also prepared a play on Women empowerment which is to be shown at different places sometimes even outside the Jaipur.
Work environment and people
The director of PUCL, Kavita Srivastav Mam has energy like the sun. Definitely, after your internship, she will be your source of inspiration. Apart from her the other staff is also very supportive and affable in nature.
Your co-interns will be from different universities which will help you to have an idea about the environment of other law colleges in India.
Best thing
Interacting with lots and lots of different people and also saw the realities of the society in which we live.
I can’t expect more than what I have got from this internship.
Bad thing

Also, the travelling expense of Jaipur is too much, but it can be reduced by taking public transport like buses, sharing auto…etc.
