Prashant Bhushan is the most established of the four offspring of Shanti Bhushan and Kumud Bhushan. His dad is a legal counselor lobbyist and a previous Union Law Minister in the Morarji Desai government. Bhushan, who quickly went to IIT Madras and Princeton University has a degree in law from Allahabad University. While still an understudy, Bhushan composed The Case that Shook India, a book working on it that put aside Indira Gandhi’s race in 1974.
Prashant Bhushan is hitched to Deepa Bhushan, a previous legal advisor. Deepa surrendered her vocation, as she couldn’t stand the “classless conduct in the courts” and the long sit tight for the cases to be arranged off. The couple has three children. The family lives in Shanti Bhushan’s home in Noida.
Education and Career of Mr. Prashant Bhushan-
Prashant Bhushan went to study Engineering at IIT-Madras but quit after one semester. He realized that his interest was not in engineering but in Physics. He decided to do a two-year BSc programme with Philosophy, Economics and Political Science in Allahabad.
During 1974-76 Mrs. Indira Gandhi’s election case was taking place. He attended the hearings both in Allahabad and the Supreme Court along with his father – Senior Advocate Shanti Bhushan who at that time was representing the client against Indira Gandhi. Of course, He was only seeing a small part of Law because this was a high profile case. So He went to study Law and for next three years pursued it even while informally continuing the study of Philosophy and Physics. He applied and got admission with a scholarship in Princeton. He realized the kind of people in the field of academics even there were basically playing intellectual games without really improving anything. It had become a word game. And, He didn’t want to play that game. So, He decided to come back, enrolled in 1983 and became a lawyer.
