Self-styled Godman Dera Chief Ram Rahim Singh has moved to Punjab and Haryana High court against the judgment of CBI court.
Singh was convicted of assaulting 2 young ladies by CBI court on August 25th. He was indicted under IPC segment 376 and 506 after which he was condemned for a long time of detainment by CBI court of Panchkula.
The 50 years of age head of Dera Sacha Sauda has asserted before that the charges against him are false and a false argument has been encircled against him.
Guard advises Vishal Garg Narwana said “We have recorded an interest today in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Through this, we have tested the request of the CBI court”.
He said the CBI decision has been tested on a few grounds.
“One of the grounds was that there was a postponement of over six years in recording the announcements of the ladies (casualties) by the CBI after the occurrence,” the safeguard direct said.
