The Bikaner police captured six people on Thursday for professedly assaulting a 28-year-old lady from New Delhi. The captures came two days after the lady had griped to the regional administrator of police in Bikaner that she had been assaulted by 23 men, including two whom she knew by name.
The lady had met Bikaner SP Sawai Singh Godara on Tuesday and had grumbled she had been assaulted by 23 men subsequent to being kidnapped from the roadside in a range on the edges of Bikaner amidst the day.
Not long after the meeting, a FIR was held up at Jai Narayan Vyas Colony police headquarters and the police started assaults to catch the guilty parties. Be that as it may, in her announcement enrolled before the officer under Section 164 CrCP, the lady affirmed she was assaulted by eight men.
“Since the vast majority of the blamed were local people, we held the episode under the wraps. After the assaults, we figured out how to capture six people for this situation. The men captured have been recognized as Subash, Raju Ram, Bhanwar Lal, Manoj Kumar, Jugal and Madan (all over 20 years),” said Godara told TOI on a telephone on Thursday. The lady, in her protestation, said she went by Ridmalsar Purohitan, a territory in Bikaner, on September 25.
“She asserted while she was sitting tight for some movement to return, two men offered her a lift in an SUV. They sedated and assaulted her. From that point, these two charged rang their companions, who likewise assaulted her in turns,” the SP added.
