About District Judge (Entry Level) Vacancy
Applications are invited for the post of District Judge (Entry Level) in Chhattisgarh Higher Judicial Service in the revised pay scale Rs. 144840-194660 under Level J-5 of new pay matrix in the cadre of Higher Judicial Service by direct recruitment from Advocates (Bar). Recruitment to these posts and conditions of service shall be governed by the Chhattisgarh Higher Judicial Service (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules 2006, as on the last date of submission of application forms.Eligibility Criteria of District Judge Entry Level
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of India.
- Age: Should have attained the age of 35 years and not have attained the age of 45 years as of 01/01/2024.
- Note: Candidates who were eligible in terms of age as of 01/01/2023 can also apply.
- Educational Qualification: Must possess a degree in law from a university established or incorporated by or under a central or state Act, or an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Should have been practicing as an Advocate for at least seven years as of 01/01/2024.
- Other Requirements: The candidate must be of good character, sound mind, and body, and free from any physical or mental disability that would render them unfit for the position.
Examination Fees (Non-Refundable)
- Rs. 1000/-: For all candidates belonging to the Unreserved Category and candidates who are not residents of Chhattisgarh, irrespective of their category.
- Rs. 700/-: For candidates who are bonafide residents of Chhattisgarh belonging to SC/ST and OBC as notified for the State of Chhattisgarh.
