About the Institute

Aim of the FDP
The aim of this three-day Amity Law School Multidisciplinary Faculty Development Programme on “Research Methodology: Fundamentals, Trends and Developments” is to understand the basics of research methodology, right approach towards research design, current trends and developments in both qualitative and quantitative research methods and the use of data collection tools.
The FDP shall also address the issues related to the fundamental difficulties faced by a researcher while pursuing research in any area.

Themes of the FDP
- Basics of Research and Research ethics.
- Types and Components of Research.
- Qualitative and Quantitative methods in research
- Research problem and Research design, Tools and techniques of data collection
- Writing research proposals, research projects, reports and approaching funding agencies.
- Judgement analysis, book review, etc.
- Writing a good research paper. (doctrinal and empirical research, drawing conclusions)
- Presentation and citation pattern.
Details of the FDP
- Date of FDP: 29th June to 1st July 2020
- Registration Fee: Rs. 300/- (non-refundable)
- Details regarding the payment shall be shared with the participants once they are registered on the above link. The Payment shall be made online.
- Estimated number of speakers: 3-4 speakers per day
- E-Certificates of participation will be issued to those who participate-in themselves.
- The duly filled registration forms shall be submitted to alsn.fdp2020[at]gmail.com.
- The registration fee shall be paid through an online transaction to the Amity account.
- The last date for registration is 28th June 2020
