ABOUT WINTER SCHOOL ON IPR & NEW TECHNOLOGY LAW

The course shall be divided into 5 Modules/Sections for the purposes of a better understanding of the participants. The proposed curriculum, duration, session plan, target audience, and platform for the course is as follows:

PROPOSED MODULES FOR THE WINTER SCHOOL

Module 1- THEORETICAL CONSIDERATION:

Contemporary Approach (Biotech, NanoTech), New and emerging technologies (AI and Blockchain) and changing concepts of IP, Overlapping of IPR

Module 2- PRACTICAL PERUSALS:

Application and enforcement, Global enforcement (cross-border enforcement of IP), IP Global Citizen bound with Local Laws, IP valuation, IP contract drafting

Module 3- GLOBAL FRAMEWORK:

WIPO – Dispute Resolution (Alternate Dispute Resolution and Domain Name Dispute), International Trade in IP and the World Trade Organization, International IP Law – Treaties

Module 4- NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND IP:

Tech Policing and monitoring: Legal and Policy issues, IP management and enforcement, IP and Artificial Intelligence, IP and Big Data, IP and Blockchain

Module 5- NEW TECHNOLOGIES LAW AND POLICY:
