Duration of Internship and timings

I interned from 7th January to 30th January, 2016

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

First day they showed me the Library which is very good and organized and told me the work that I had to do with the researchers.

The team work of the researchers is very good which I liked very much.

Main tasks

The main task of the interns was to research on the topic or case which the Judges want or which the courtrooms wanted.

There was no specific area of research whatever case or topic they wanted we had research on them.

They also teach how to research from digest and law reviews.

Work environment and people

The work environment was very good and comfortable.

The people in the library were very friendly and used to help a lot in finding of books and helping in research.

They never used to scold us on coming late from lunch or going early.

Best things

The best thing I liked in judges library was that they used to teach us how to research and formulate our research.

The registrar of the judges library always used to tell us about research and library so that we never feel neglected.

Bad things

There was no supervisor to tell us what to do next. We had to ask them about the research work.

Biggest Lessons

I had found that one should do at least one library internship as this helps in knowing how to research.

The way they research is brilliant which can help us in doing research for projects or paper or for a moot in our colleges.

They not only make one do research but also teaches how to research and approach a book or an online source for the research.
