About the University
University School of Law & Legal Studies is one of the constituent schools of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Established in 2001, it is an institution dedicated to law and was the first state government law school in Delhi. The university envisages advancement of institutional expertise in the area of legal research and education by augmenting academic and professional excellence, developing critical and relentless engagement with legal theory and practice, synergizing law, legal research, legal education and action to further the quest for justice. It was the first University Law School established in the vicinity of the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, various subordinate courts, commissions, tribunals and numerous monitoring offices of national and international voluntary organizations. Recently, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has ranked 12 in the National Institutional Ranking Framework’s India Rankings 2021 (Law), out of 120 participating law universities all over India.
About the Blog
The USLLS ADR Blog is an initiative of University School of Law of Legal Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. We, at USLLS ADR Blog, believe that sustained academic deliberation is required to ensure that the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution Law grows continuously, and becomes the mainstream solution to disputes. Our aim is to provide a conducive platform that fosters discussions and deliberations pertaining to the field of ADR by academicians, researchers, students and practitioners. We hope to promote the culture of ADR and acquire the viewpoints of the various stakeholders in the field. In pursuance of that vision, we have also constituted a diverse Advisory Board consisting of extremely accomplished individuals in the field of ADR so as to enable the Blog to ensure that the viewpoints of the various stakeholders are addressed through the holistic functioning of the Blog.

The editorial board of the USLLS ADR Blog is looking to expand its team. The USLLS ADR Blog invites applications for the position of ‘Technical Editor-cum-Web Developer’. The interested candidates may send their CVs at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line as “Application for the post of Technical Editor-cum-Web Developer”. The deadline for sending the application is 26th of September, 2021.
Role of the Technical Editor-cum-Web Developer
The Technical Editor-cum-Web Developer is required to primarily look after the official website of the USLLS ADR Blog and provide a holistic technical support to the editorial team of the Blog.
The applicant should be adept at running the website efficiently, with adequate knowledge of HTML and CSS being mandatory. The applicant should also be familiar with Elementor Builder, Bluehost Hosting Service, and CPanel.
The key functions, of the Technical Editor-cum-Web Developer, are provided below:
- Maintaining the existing website.
- Creating a user-friendly experience for the readers.
- Updating new blogs, publications, and events at regular intervals.
- Creating new ‘Pages’ and features from time to time as per the requirement of the editorial team of the Blog.
The Technical Editor-cum-Web Developer would be rewarded with the following benefits:
- A Certificate of Internship with the USLLS ADR Blog for the period of engagement.
- A Letter of Recommendation may also be provided at the end of the engagement period subject to performance of the Technical Editor-cum-Web Developer.
It is important to mention that the position is an unpaid position. The applicant will not be compensated with any monetary remuneration for the services rendered during the period of engagement.
